A Time for Children
Dear Friends, Good Evening, I am determined to reach all of the Children in schools through out the Bahamas. Some of them live in very remote places, islands hundreds of miles away from Nassau. With your help I can find them. The islands of the Bahamas start from the tip of Florida, down as far as Haiti. There are many miles of Ocean which separate the Northern Bahamas from the Southern Bahamas. This distance makes it very difficult for persons to visit, and very expensive to travel. I believe that the Children in our Islands should know one another. The Commonwealth Writers of The Bahamas have a plan, to visit three Islands this year,going into the schools. 1. Abaco Island in the Northern Bahamas. 2. Eleuthera Island in the Central Bahamas 3. Crooked Island in the Southern Bahamas.
